Join us next weekend for a fun, hilarious production of the musical "All Shook Up"! A guitar-playing, music-loving, hip-swiveling roustabout rides into a dull town and shakes everything up as people start falling in love with life and each other. The story, based loosely on Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night", will have you laughing out loud and the music will leave you singing at your seats along with all your favorite Elvis hits. So "C'mon Everybody" - please join us! November 15th and 16th at 7:30, November 17th at 2:00. Tickets can be found at or Come and support our talented cast, crew, and musicians who have worked so hard!

Fall Show & Craft Fair - Volunteer Signups

posted Nov 10, 2019, 4:00 PM by ABWoodPerf ArtsParentAssoc

All Shook Up!
It's show time and we need lots of help! Assistance is needed during tech week, which starts today, Sun 11/10, with snacks and backstage help and also for the show next weekend in the lobby and backstage. Please consider signing up to help backstage and donate some food, as the students are rehearsing late and need food to keep them going. View the sign up sheets below.

Archbishop Wood Fall 2019 Craft Fair
We need a lot of help if the craft fair is going to run smoothly, so your service is greatly appreciated. Every student in any performing arts activity (concert band, strings, jazz band, choir, play, and stage crew) needs to sign up for at least one time slot. Those parents wishing to have their performing arts participation fee waived also need to sign up for at least one time slot. If you are available to help out with more than one slot/position, we'd appreciate the extra help.

Our first meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 24th at 7pm in the Auditorium. This is an IMPORTANT meeting and you won't want to miss it. We will go over details such as the calendar, concerts and theater performances, activity fees, and our big fundraiser. We look forward to seeing many returning families and meeting new ones. If you know of any new families not on this email please forward this so they don't miss out on this important meeting.  Prior to meeting please visit and complete Student / Parent Participation Agreement form. The agreement outlines the time and monetary expectations for both students and parents, We are able to keep the fees for Performing Arts the same as in previous years. This year we are asking that the monetary contribution, as outlined in the agreement, be in the form of personal check or money order. We will discuss the fees in more detail at the meeting.

In accordance with State and Archdiocesan laws it's imperative that all volunteers have the appropriate clearances. If you submitted them last year you are good for this year. If not PLEASE get them in ASAP. You need to have your Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check . This will come back immediately and you can print it out. You also need the Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, which processes in about 2 weeks. Once you receive these you can send them into school to the Principal's Office attention Ms. Tricia Vizza or you can email them to her at Let her know that you are part of Performing Arts. If you are new and have volunteered at your child's grade school it should carryover to Archbishop Wood and this documentation should be sent to Ms. Tricia Vizza .  Thanks so much for taking care of this ASAP.
